Presenting Sponsor

As the new year unfolds, we are thrilled to announce our annual
Building Futures event is returning on May 21, 2024.

This isn’t just any celebration, though —

2024 marks a momentous occasion for us at
LAW SCHOOL... Yes We Can,
our 10th anniversary:

Making a Decade of Difference.

For a decade, we’ve championed diversity and education in the legal profession. Our commitment has rippled through the lives of many, as evidenced by our remarkable 97% graduation rate and the 144 fellows who have journeyed with us to date. As we enter this special year, we reflect on the 94 alumni who are now shaping the future and the 300+ mentors who have generously guided their paths. This celebration is as much yours as it is ours. Together, we have sent 14 Fellows to law school in 2023 alone, with another seven already enrolled!

Every step we take paves the way for a brighter, more diverse tomorrow.

Join us in May to commemorate this milestone and celebrate our collective accomplishments and the exciting horizons ahead. Your presence is key to turning this event into a kaleidoscope of the dreams, hard work, and achievements to which we have all contributed.

Sponsorship packages for this event are now open, so please contact us at
info@LawSchoolYesWeCan.org for more information.

Individual tickets will be available in the coming weeks.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you and set the stage for the next
Decade of Difference — every day, in every way.

John and Katherine Rosenbloom Endowed Symposium for the Exploration of Ideas

  • University of Colorado Law School (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

This interdisciplinary conversation will address the State of Equality in 2021. The John and Katherine Rosenbloom Endowed Symposium for the Exploration of Ideas was established in 2016 to support engaging interdisciplinary, relevant, and thoughtful discussions on important issues in honor of former Colorado Law Dean Phil Weiser and the lectures he implemented during his deanship. Presented in partnership with the University of Colorado Law School and the University of Colorado Boulder Conference on World Affairs.

  • What do we mean by equality?

  • Do different fields of inquiry think about equality differently?

  • What are some prominent, contemporary examples of the harmful effects of inequality on well-being?

  • Is some inequality inevitable and perhaps, even desirable?

  • What inequalities should be addressed first, among those forms that are considered undesirable?

  • What have we learned from past successes and failures about moving toward greater equality as a society?

Dean Lolita Buckner Inniss of the University of Colorado Law School will moderate a discussion by scholars of law, philosophy, and politics on these questions and more.
